President Bility Inducts WALIMA'S Officials Into Office
President Bility Inaugurates the new corps of officers of MALIMA

The peaceful transfer of
power in any society or governing institution is a symbolic and
indispensable component of social responsibility. It is also an
inextricable characteristic of democracy that ensures lasting peace,
stability and tranquility within that society or governing
institution.
It was democracy at its highest peak, in
Jubilation and excitement filled the WALIMA Community
yesterday as president Donzo, whom many said had over stayed his
tenure in office stood down as promised before elections. FELMAUSA
president Mohammed S. Bility praised Mr. Donzo for transforming
WALIMA from a mere social group to a well organized institution that
has contributed immensely to the establishment of FEMAUSA.
President Bility encouraged the WALIMA outgoing leadership
to remain of assistance to the new administration in providing
meaningful ideas and suggestions to promote the goals and
aspirations of WALIMA, which will sustain a strong and stabilized
FELMAUSA for all Mandingos.

In his inaugural speech yesterday, president Kamara
promised to protect the integrity of WALIMA by ensuring good
governance and stability. " I come to this presidency with a vivid
understanding of my sole responsibility as not only a leader, but
also a unifier of my community", the young president of WALIMA told
the FELMAUSA leader. "I am also aware that WALIMA, the Washington
Areas Liberia Mandingo Association is a pioneer in the formation of
our Federation, FELMAUSA, and has contributed immensely to every
nuance of its development". Therefore Mr. President, I promise in
this public manner, that my team and I will work diligently to
perpetuate WALIMA's commitment in such direction" he said.
In his farewell Speech to the WALIMA people, outgoing
president Kalifala Donzo said he was sad to be vacating the top seat
of WALIMA, but on the other hand was very emboldened by the strong
spirit of democracy to do what is popularly righty for the purpose
of peace and stability in our community. " I have left you with a
strong and unified community". "I pray, hope and trust with
sincerity that you will maintain those values and integrity that we
have built over the years the former WALIMA strongman said his
successor.
Also speaking at the induction ceremony yesterday, was Mr. Mohammed Donzo, WALIMA's outgoing Secretary General. The former SG told Mr. Kamara and team to be ready to face difficult challenge ahead that could be the test of their leadership. He said some of those challenges would come in the form of criticism and heated debates and as leaders should be willing to accept them.
