The Sheriff Family announces with deep sorrows and humility the passing away of their Father, Grandfather, uncle and granduncle Elhaji Musa Sheriff (Layee Musa). This mournful event occurred in Moussadou, republic of Guinea. The deceased was more than 100 years old. He has since been buried in accordance with Islamic tradition.

The late Elhaji Musa is survived by his wives, children and grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends in Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Prayer service for the late Elhaji Musa Sheriff will be held on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at the home of Sheikh Sekou Sheriff at 527 Holly Rd., Yeadon, PA 19050
