The Konneh and Dukuly
families in Monrovia regret to announce
the disappearance of their son, brother,
and nephew, Losene A. Konneh while
swimming in the sea at South Beach. On
Sunday, December 2, 2007, Losene went
along with some friends to swim in the
sea. The swimming that started as a joy
ride for the young man has turned into a
nightmare for the Konneh and the Dukuly
families in and out of Liberia.
Losene was born in 1993
in Nzerekore while his parents lived
there as refugees as a result of the
Liberian civil war. His parents hailed
from Ganta, Nimba County. While the
assumption may be that Losene may be
dead since he has not been found for
more than three days, the family is yet
to decide on funeral arrangement.
According to family sources from
Monrovia, Liberia, the family has
decided to hold a funeral program if the
body cannot be found within the
reasonable period of time.
On Sunday, December 9,
2007, there will be prayer service at
222 Wildwood Avenue, Lansdowne, Pa
19050. Time: 2:00 pm.
