The Delta Flight 1610
arrived at the General
Mitchell International
Airport in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin Thursday night
at about 8:00 pm local
time and descending from
the plane were Liberia’s
top sensation, Massebe
Kamara, accompanied by
Liberia’s Assistant
Minister of Information,
Abu Kamara.
The delegation was received by FELMAUSA
Secretary General Morris Kromah, who
later transported them to the residence
of elder Siaka Konneh.
According to latest reports, the top
selling artist and the government’s
representative departed Milwaukee at
10:30 following a brief rest and are
already en route to Philadelphia. They
are expected to arrive in the city
Saturday.
Meanwhile, Minister Kamara said they
would have love to be in the US for the
FELMAUSA inauguration program last
Saturday, but were unable due to flight
problem. He urged his kinsmen to unite
with solidarity and purpose, adding, “If
that purpose is to bring the Mandingo
people together or find educational
opportunities for them, then all should
support that purpose.”
Minister Kamara thanked FELMAUSA Chief
Scribe and the people of Milwaukee for
the warm welcome.
