FELMAUSA Congratulates New MINMA Leaders

President-Elect Musa Kamara

The President of FELMAUSA, Mr. Mohammed R. Konneh, has sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected officials of the Minnesota Mandingo Association.

 

The president expressed happiness over the fact that an electoral process took place in which all the community members participated and the result is "something I believe will move the community forward."

 

The FELMAUSA Chief Executive said he is pledging the Federation's support to the new administration and hopes for smooth transfer from the out going leadership to the new one.

 

The president believes there are many issues affecting our community and expressed the hope that the newly elected leaders will take their responsibility very seriously in helping to solve those problems.

 

The Minnesota Mandingo Association, MMA recently elected Musa Kamara as its new President. The new MINMA President is also a founding member of FELMAUSA. His run for the presidency was uncontested. President Kamara expressed happiness for his preferment and promised to work in the best interest of the organization.

    

He says efforts to augment plans by past administrations will be the hallmark of the day while at the same time his office will remain open for constructive ideas that will move the organization forward. Mr. Kamara lauded his supporters as well as his campaign manager Al Donzo, alias “Chris D” for their gallant support aimed at bringing him to power.

    

He is however emphasizing the need to incorporate few members of past regimes noting that this is one way the organization will achieve its goals.
