Federation of Liberian Mandingo Associations in USA (FELMAUSA) is inviting the entire Mandingo community and the general public to her third Annual National Convention in Minnesota.

This year convention will be held in Minneapolis MN from Friday, July 3^rd through Sunday, July 5^th 2009 at the Grand Rios Indoor Water Park & Ramada Hotel, 6900 Lakeland Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55428 and rest of the convention activities will be held at the East Side Neighborhood Hall on 1700 2^nd Street NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413.

Highlights of the many activities schedule throughout the convention include informative plenary guest speakers, queen contest, fund raising, entertainment, election, and sport tournament. Fundraised from these activities will be used to support FELMAUSA’s projects, especially the FELMAUSA Education Assistance Programs.

The theme of this year’s convention is “Education for Every Child, at Every Chance and Every Day”. We have asked our Honorable Ambassador of Liberia, M. Nathanial Barnes to serve as the keynote speaker, who will speak to us on the above topic.

Our national convention is an opportunity to interact and network with Mandingo leaders, who represent the cross sections of our communities across the United States of America and the world. The FELMAUSA convention also provides up to date information about the core aspirations of FELMAUSA, such as the need for social changes through targeted educational initiatives.

Admission for the Convention activities include following: (Welcome Dance $20.00, Convention Ball $25.00, Soccer game: $5.00 and Women Night and Farewell Dance: $20.00).
