Appointment: FELMAUSA President Appoints Correspondents

The president of FELMAUSA Hon. Mohammed Dukuly, through the recommendation of the chairman of the Publicity committee Mr. Mohammed F. Bility, has appointed the following individuals with immediate effect. These individuals will serve as FELMAUSA correspondents in their respective areas.

  1. Sekou Sheriff will be the head of our Australian Field office.  As a senior Correspondent he will coordinate and analyze news worthy information for FELMAUSA out of Australia. Mr. Sheriff is a candidate for graduation at the University of South Australia; he also holds an advanced Diploma of Accounting from Tea Tree Gully Institute of Tafe College. He also works as interpreter (Multicultural South Australia Attorney General Office, SA Government).

 

2.      Mr. VEE Musa Fofana will also serve as FELMAUSA Correspondent responsible for all objective and unbiased in-depth news from the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Minnesota is known for its rapidly growing Liberian Mandingo community and a State that hosted FELMAUSA 2009 elections/convention. Mr. Fofana is very articulate and candid about the issues of the Mandingo community.

 

 

3.      Isiaka Sidibé is the new FELMAUSA Correspondent from the city of Dallas TX.  Mr. Sidibé is a regular blogger on Facebook and has headed a lot of positions in his home state of TX.  Currently student, Mr. Sidibé is a smart, intelligent and humble leader.

 

4.      Mr. Sekou Dolleh is happy to join the team.  He will be the FELMAUSA Correspondent from beautiful city of Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Mr. Dolleh is currently pursuing a Journalism Degree. He is a community organizer, and has a reputation as an advocate for maintaining the Mandingo Heritage.

 

5.      Khalil Dukuly of Holland, Europe is a young Mandingo scholar with a degree in International Business and Management Studies from NHL University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.  Dukuly is also a founding partner of Edu-care Liberia, an international non-profit organization founded to support students in higher institutions in Liberia.  Dukuly’s academic achievements and professional growth has prepared him to serve the greater Mandingo community as FELMAUSA Correspondent for Europe.

 

6.      Musa Sheriff Vancouver, BC CANADA- Mr. Sheriff, over the years, has earned a great deal of respect from his community. He supports the values of FELMAUSA and with his recent appointment as FELMAUSA Correspondent from Vancouver, we are confident that he will discharge his duties and responsibilities without fear or favor.

7.      Abraham Jabateh of Madrid, Spain will serve as the FELMAUSA Correspondent to Spain. In his role, he will function as a gateway to bridge and disseminate vital happenings between the Mandingo community in Spain and those around the world through FELMAUSA.

 

The president, in separate discussions with these individuals, cautioned them to function as exemplary ambassadors for FELMAUSA in their areas. He cautioned them to take their respective positions very seriously as such appointments remain clear indications of the voice and trust of the Liberian Mandingo Community.
