It was
Saturday July 3rd when Felmausans
gathered on the soccer pitch to enjoy
spectacular soccer display. It was the
state of MN going against the Mande boys
of New Jersey. The only game played on
that Saturday drew a crowd close to 2000
spectators. The boys of Mande were able
to pull off a successful victory against
Minnesota in the presence of its
president Mohamed Dorley and coach
Bangaly Trawally AKA BT.
The players from both sides
were in high spirit to lock horns as the
spectators enjoy the sounds of Talata Sheriff.
As they say, “when two elephants meet, the grass
suffers.” It was the case with Mande Association
of New Jersey going against the Twin Cities boys
of MN. At the end of the game, spectators
hurriedly rushed out of the field to get ready
for a night of party and enjoyment.
Even though president
Dorley boys (MN) lost to Mande, he assured his
team that they were going back to the drawing
board to repair all the problems that existed.
President Dorley commended the efforts of the MN
team and assured them of his leadership
commitment to their dying quest for the FELMAUSA
championship.
For his part, Coach Gafin
Swaray and the Mande boys confidently secured a
comfortable spot in the tournament as New York
and Minnesota sorted things out the following
day.
